Boing! Somebody...hit me!

Ok. What's going on? I just received another purple star. This time I got it for my Avengers Movie Fan Page.

Hey, I'm not complaining! Thanks people over at Squidoo! I'm just surprised that it's all happening so fast.

Believe it or not, the Avengers Movie Fan Page was one of my first lenses, made back in 2010, while I was just starting to figure out how to make them. In February, I revamped it with a lot of "look and feel" technique and better writing.

I'm more comfortable now putting together lenses. As a matter of fact, I can build a pretty decent lens on about anything. Today I put up a Five Finger Death Punch lens; most people won't believe I listen to their music, but that's ok. (I'm actually listening to 5FDP, Crossing Over, right now.)

You know, I should tell you all something: I think Squidoo and I are sympathetic. What I mean is, we seem to have seperate purposes that fit together perfectly. Squidoo wants members and is looking for people who want to provide unique writing. I, on the other hand, only want to write uniquely.

Somehow, I think Squidoo and I are going to benefit well from each other. And regardless, I think we're both enjoying ourselves.

He's got stars in his eyes!

That's right, I'm riverdancing!

I just got a purple star over here at Captain America vs. Wolverine! Somebody, quick, tell me what all I can do with it. (Rushes to add purple star glitter to the computer screen.) Whoo hoo!

Let me tell you how it all rolled out. Basically, I made a crappy article, with some fundamental mistakes, back in 2010 September. I've been on a "fix-it" roll lately, and decided to reinvent an article about Cap fighting Wolverine. Apparently it's gotten some recognition.

It's freezing here! I just saw a Robin-icicle fall to the ground. Time for Ice Cream!

Brrr! So much global warming around this spring. Oh, that's right..."man-made climate change". Got it.

Anyhow, I made my first amazon sale today with Squidoo! I was checking out some reports this morning and then noticed that my Godzilla vs. lens pulled 55 cents!

Ok, yeah, someone bought a Greenday CD; still, it came from my lens! (You gotta keep positive, Czirr!)

So here I am, sitting with my bowl of Ice Cream, in the freezing cold. You see, I turned off the heat last week when we hit 60s and 70s outside. I refuse to turn it back on. Ice Cream! Ice Cream!

If you're making lots of money right now, shut up! Ok, I'm proud for you, just remember, I'm on your heels now!

On a side note, I'm putting up my Laws of Magic, a set of rules I constructed last year that governs how magic can be implimented in books and so forth. I'll be holding it in a waiting pattern until I see a ripe time to market it.

Also, my Top 10 Strangest Heroes of Marvel is rocking solid; it's got the best ranking I've ever seen with one of my lenses (16,243), and doing better every day.

Some knucklehead beat me to establishing a Flashpoint web2.0 page, but that's ok. I got mine up first (just had to rename the title a bit).

No. I'm not really looking for topics.

Don't lose your head, guys!

Man, I'm tellin' you I've got a lot of stuff on my list. Right now I'm preparing a lens I just thought up. I've got a backlog of about 100 ideas (at least), sitting by my computer as I try to jumble them all together. I've got more work than time.

So far, the Top 10 Strangest Superheroes of Marvel is still working out very nice. I've also been jumping into Comic Book events, such as The Brightest Day and Fear Itself.

My goal? I'm focusing on user participation; I'm trying to create a following. If I get the confidence of readers, I should be able to bring them with me.

And no, I'm not interested in some sort of scam, just keeping the trust of those who like the way I write. The only thing that I wonder about is what they'll think when they see my horror. And the only worry is that I'll write less towards books.

I guess I'll just continue focusing on the fun stuff. The money really isn't important to me at this point.

This is a diabolical strategy. No, I don't want to talk about it!

So I've been on Squidoo for awhile, enjoying myself and typing away. In the meantime, I'm working on this other book (the plot and characters are great, I'm just having more fun writing about my favorite superheroes and stuff).

And I don't bother rushing myself; if I find that I'm bored, I move on to my next project. (That's how I end up writing better, anyhow.)

Ok, so I'm thinking, "let's see if I can generate above-average interest" with a lens. Squidooman is already doing pretty well, and I have a feeling I'll be seeing lots more of it from week to week, but I want to start trying different things.

And here's my (harmless) evil plan. I've created a new lens/article today called "The Top 10 Strangest Superheroes of Marvel Comics". But this time things are going to be a little different; week to week, I'll be updating it, and I've allowed for maximum observer participation.

I'll also be talking about it (respectfully and briefly) on the forums at Marvel. I'm really interested in how it works since it will be at least 10 weeks before the project is complete.

Oh, before I forget: "Why make billions when we can make...millions? Mwahahahahaa!"

Rebuilt my Blogsite Today

Ha ha...hahaha...hahahaha. Nope. Nothing fancy. For the last couple months I've been building a structure for some of my work. I saved this blogspot back in 2011, and now I figured it was time to put it to use.

(Stands around, looking around, whistlly whistling...)

Oh, don't worry....get ready...
